Newspapers are provided to you at no charge. They are donated by local businesses and subscribers.

All of the great newspapers of the Bay Area News Group are now available in e-Edition! - the convenience of the internet combined with the award-winning content of your favorite local news resource!

Classroom teachers can now combine print and e-Edition to give their students access to stories, photos, ads, comics - all the great components of the printed newspaper replicated on our e-Edition Web site!

It comes with terrific tools like keyword search, 30-day archiving and custom email notification. You can even email an article with comments.

Your e-Edition log-in instructions and password will arrive by email within 3 - 5 business days.

*Teachers who normally use the Alameda Times-Star or the Marin IJ can sign up for The Oakland Tribune e-Edition.

Delivery Schedule

Choose the option that best suits the needs of your classroom by selecting Print & e-Edition, Print Only or e-Edition Only. (If you don't select one of these three options, you will receive e-Edition Only by default.) If you are signing up for e-Edition, we will be sending you an e-mail with your log-in information. To qualify for e-Edition, you must have internet access at your school.

PRINT EDITION LIMIT: 10 COPIES PER WEEK

e-Edition LIMIT: One license for access per student in your class(es) - per day.
